Welcome
Employers
When you choose to work with Mitchell Martin, you value
qualities such as honesty, intelligence, creativity, persistence and
a sense of corporate maturity. We are excellent listeners and have an
innate ability to “read” people.
Our candidates consist of 80% of the working population who are happy,
well appreciated and not reading the want ads. They are attorneys that
have excelled in the work place and want to continue to strive for excellence.
We, as experienced recruiters, motivate them to move for better opportunities.
Contrary to popular belief, or myth, as recruiters we do not “steal” people.
That would be impossible. Also, as experienced recruiters, we do not
actively recruit from our clients. That would be unethical.
When to call us:
1) You have an urgency to fill a position.
2) You have a difficult position to fill. You have exhausted your in
house resources and extensively interviewed with no success.
3) You wish to be kept apprised of top-notch talent, regardless of whether
there is an immediate open position.
To help ensure a successful placement please provide us with a “complete
description” of the position. This will include:
1) Position Description and Responsibilities: Identify the level of experience
required for your position and to whom the position will report. Describe
the responsibilities of the position. This can be a typical “day,
week or month in the life” of the position. If you require a candidate
to wear different hats, we suggest dividing the time into percentages
for what is required in terms of your practice. The more information,
the better!
2) Chemistry: This may be the most critical piece of information you
will be asked to provide. We believe all good hires are based on strong
chemistry matches. Our clients hire candidates they like, believe, trust
and understand. After all, you will be spending most of your time with
the candidate. Our most successful client relationships are candid (no
sugar coating, please).
3) Hiring Process, Timing: Determine who will interview, where the interview
is to take place and within what time parameters. A “drop-dead
date” is helpful to provide us with enough time to find your ideal
candidate.
4) Salary and Fee: A contingency service charge will be required if a
placement occurs. The last thing we want to happen is any misunderstanding
at the eleventh hour. Please discuss any concerns you may have regarding
our services before we begin your search. Our fees are flexible depending
on the position parameters, level of difficulty, and whether our efforts
are exclusive. We respect and value our clients and enjoy mutually beneficial
working relationships.
In Short:
1) We care more about maintaining relationships and our credibility than
making a quick buck.
2) We value our client’s time . . . and we don’t waste our
time.
3) We are professionals and will only submit
candidates to you that fit your job qualifications.
